It’s part of a 10-acre development that also includes an incoming Culver’s, a hotel, and a still-unnamed restaurant Ashland’s mayor has teased as “specializing in chicken.” The land sold in October for roughly $2.3 million after the city approved a property tax abatement for the developer, Eagle Dirt Holdings LLC.

Ashland Mayor Matt Miller had teased the coffee shop as early as a January city council meeting, telling residents a “very popular coffee shop” was coming to the plot before 7 Brew’s involvement was publicly confirmed.

This stand is developed by Motley 7 Brew, the franchise group founded in January 2023 by Rick Nader and Tom Cook to expand 7 Brew’s drive-thru format across Ohio, Texas, and Georgia.
