From City Council to Opening Day

Shaw Local reported on April 23, 2026 that Dixon city officials announced 7 Brew at that week’s council meeting and approved a redevelopment agreement for the stand. The developer is Dixon Gateway Plaza Two LLC. The project sits in the Fargo Creek TIF district, where the city reimburses 70% of the developer’s annual property taxes for five years and 50% for the following five, starting after construction is complete and occupancy is certified. The agreement requires occupancy within 18 months of its date. The stand is opening about six months after the announcement. The article did not give an opening date or job numbers.

Who Is Behind the Dixon Stand?

The “Apply Today” link on 7 Brew’s Dixon page points to brewhorizons.7brewcareers.com, which indicates the franchise group Brew Horizons. That is the same careers link used on the official page for the Sterling, IL stand, about a dozen miles away. We could not find a news report naming the Dixon operator, so we are going only by the hiring link. The land and building are controlled by the developer, Dixon Gateway Plaza Two LLC, per Shaw Local.

Dixon’s First 7 Brew
