Caffeine for a Cause is 7 Brew’s standard opening-weekend fundraiser. At Lubbock the flyer says drinks were pay what you want, all proceeds were donated to Children’s Miracle Network, and a limited menu was available. The sessions were Friday, October 23 from 9 AM to 3 PM, and Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25 from 10 AM to 4 PM. The weekend has ended, and we did not find a reported total. Lubbock has a history with this cause: KCBD reported in April 2025 that 7 Brew donated $2,750 to UMC Children’s Hospital and Children’s Miracle Network, from $1 per large drink sold during a “Week of Miracles” campaign. Why Earlier Opening Estimates Were Off
Older planning information pointed to a later opening. The TDLR filing lists a construction start of August 31, 2026 and a completion date of January 25, 2027, and Lubbock in the Loop’s list of coming 7 Brew stands said this site would tentatively open in January 2027, with construction tentatively starting in August. Those are early planning dates from filings, and 7 Brew’s own location page and flyer now give November 2, 2026. If you see January 2027 elsewhere, it is outdated.
