Updated October 21, 2026
7 Brew has now set an official opening date for the Frederica Street stand: Monday, November 2, 2026. Our earlier version of this page had no opening date and described a building permit. It now uses the official grand opening flyer and 7 Brew’s location page. We removed unsourced traffic estimates, hours guesses and the permit cost and contractor details, which we could not verify against a public record.

Caffeine for a Cause: Owensboro Humane Society
Caffeine for a Cause is 7 Brew’s standard opening-weekend fundraiser: instead of a set price, you pay what you want for your drink, and the stand donates the proceeds. The flyer says all proceeds go to the Owensboro Humane Society, the same charity that benefited when the first Owensboro stand opened in 2025. A Yahoo News report on that opening said the first stand’s pay-what-you-want weekend raised more than $7,000 for the society. The Frederica Street flyer lists three sessions: Friday, October 23 from 9 AM to 4 PM, and Saturday, October 24 and Sunday, October 25 from 10 AM to 4 PM, with a limited menu.
One flyer detail to note: the badge on the Caffeine for a Cause panel reads “Free small drinks,” but the panel’s own details say pay what you want. Plan to pay whatever you choose, and treat any free small drink as unconfirmed for these dates.
Second Owensboro Stand vs. the First
| Stand | Address | Status |
|---|---|---|
| First stand | 4930 Frederica Street | Open since 2025; in front of the former Towne Square Mall property (Owensboro Times) |
| Second stand (this page) | 2622 Frederica Street, 42301 | Opens Nov 2, 2026 (official page and flyer) |
Owensboro Times reported in July 2026 that 7 Brew was planning a second Owensboro stand about a year after the first opened, proposed as a standalone building on Frederica Street near a McDonald’s, outside the existing shopping center in the Wesleyan Park Plaza area. That report did not give a street number, so we cannot confirm it describes the same site, but 7 Brew’s page now lists the second stand at 2622 Frederica Street. If you are heading to the opening events, double-check the address before you go, since both stands are on Frederica Street.

Jackpot Day Follows Swag Day
Saturday, November 7 is the 7th of the month, the day after Swag Day. 7 Brew’s location page lists Jackpot Day as stopping by “every 7th of the month between 7am-7pm for a new surprise.” We do not know what the surprise will be, so check the stand’s social pages that morning.
