On November 4, WSBT reported that a line of cars at the new 7 Brew on North Main Street, north of Douglas, stretched around the building and onto Main Street for most of Tuesday, November 3. People in line told the station they had waited 30 minutes or more, and police were called several times over the traffic. WSBT described a free-coffee promotion running through November 8 and said there were “no plans so far to resolve the traffic issue.”
What we cannot reconcile: The flyer lists pay-what-you-want Caffeine for a Cause starting November 6 and an official opening on November 16, so we do not know what was served on November 3. WSBT’s story gave no street number, so we cannot confirm from it that the stand is the one at 5540 North Main Street. Treat the traffic report as a warning, not a schedule.
