Caffeine for a Cause: Beds for Kids With A Place to Sleep
All proceeds from the September 25-27 pay-what-you-want event went to A Place to Sleep, and it’s about as hometown a pick as 7 Brew could have made. The nonprofit is a ministry of First Presbyterian Church on Main Street in Shelbyville, and it provides beds and bedding to children who don’t have one.
Its origin story is a memorable one. In December 2009, 10-year-old Shelbyville resident Jessica Collins watched the scene in The Blind Side where Michael Oher reveals he’s never had a bed of his own, and asked her parents whether that could really happen. When she learned it could, she asked to donate a bed as a Christmas project; with her church’s help, six children got beds that year. By late 2025, the ministry had provided more than 3,700 beds to children across Kentucky, with most in Shelby County and dozens more kids on its waiting list at any given time.
Where Exactly Is This 7 Brew?
The stand’s address is 500 Hill-N-Dale Drive, Shelbyville, KY 40065, and you may also see it written as “500 Hill N Dale Dr,” as on the flyer. It sits just off Midland Trail (US-60). 7 Brew’s location page gives these directions from Martha Layne Collins High School, about 1.8 miles away: turn right onto Discovery Blvd, then left onto Midland Trail, right onto Hill-N-Dale Dr, and left onto Dale Rd. You’ll see 7 Brew straight ahead.
Shelbyville, Kentucky, Not Tennessee or Indiana
Searching “7 Brew Shelbyville” can pull up three different cities. Shelbyville, Tennessee already has a 7 Brew at 1815 N Main St, and Shelbyville, Indiana has one on East State Road 44. This new stand is the first in Shelbyville, Kentucky, the Shelby County seat on the I-64 corridor between Louisville and Frankfort. Until now, the closest 7 Brew stands for Shelbyville residents were in eastern Louisville, including the Middletown stand on Shelbyville Road (US-60).
Who’s Running the Shelbyville Stand
The hiring link on 7 Brew’s official Shelbyville page points to Brew Team’s careers site, which identifies Brew Team as the operating franchise group. Brew Team is one of 7 Brew’s most active operators, with October openings that also include the new Northport, AL stand. Job applications are open through the official location page.
Shelbyville is also one of two new Kentucky stands on 7 Brew’s October list. The other is La Grange in neighboring Oldham County, which doesn’t have a confirmed date yet.
What to Order When It Opens

7 Brew’s #1 best-seller nationwide: a breve with caramel and vanilla.
Ocean Breeze 7 Energy with Cold Foam
A top energy drink pick for the I-64 commute toward Louisville or Frankfort.
Strawberry Smoothie with Whipped Cream
A caffeine-free fan favorite and an easy pick for kids during Community Hours.
Georgia Peach Green Tea

Opening in October also means day-one customers get the new Booost Your Brew Halloween lineup, including the Rocky Road Mocha and the Drizzled Apple 7 Fizz Soda. And since the stand opens October 5, its first Jackpot Day lands just two days later, on October 7.
